Protective Order Information

 

Protection Orders can now be filed online at the State’s Protection Order E-Filing Service Provider. The online application can be filled out at any time on any day and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.  Please note that an online application filed outside of normal business hours will not be addressed by the Court until its next business day.

If you wish to fill out a Protection Order form in person, you may visit the Clerk’s office located on the first floor at the Allen Superior Court Small Claims Division (1 W. Superior St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802).

Those needing assistance completing the forms may schedule an appointment with Superior Court’s Protection Order Specialist.  An appointment may be scheduled in person, by calling (260) 449-3444, or by emailing [email protected].

No court filing fees are required for Protection Orders that involve domestic/family violence, harassment, sexual assault, or stalking.

Petitions may be filed in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

 

Hearings on completed forms are heard Monday through Friday between the following times:

8:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

1:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
